Dear FutureMe,
This year has been crazy. I started off a dope and nic fiend, barely got **** done at school, barely did anything productive with my free time and mainly focused on Bri. I lost my V card 2 weeks after my 16th bday and had a nice long first relationship with someone I loved dearly but finally had to leave because I had changed a lot as a person, along with my priorities, and I found her to be a hindrance to my goals, plus she was far from perfect for me and I decided that I should keep looking. I had my first job at Muffin Break, which I hated, and made me realise that I should be investing time and money into my skills to set you up for success rather than just working anywhere for quick money. My weed addiction had gotten so bad that even a few months after I stopped being a full blown addict, I didn't seem to have the logic to stop myself from lighting a joint in the river cruise toilets, which got me expelled. Although I have smoked a handful of times since then, I no longer feel the compulsion to smoke just because I can, which I am very proud of. I am, however, still somewhat a nic fiend, but I'm actually progressing quite well with quitting that. I have also been better at managing my porn use lately than since I started watching it as a dumbass piece of **** 12 year old, and have finally realised the extent of the disgusting fetish that started with curiosity at 12, and the importance of letting it go in favour of a better life. I have realised that my attention span may not be because of ADHD after all, but rather bad habits such as my hardcore porn consumption, and I am now building much better habits such as meditating, semen retention and controlling my phone usage to improve it, which should have a life changing effect as it allows me to work towards my goals efficiently and healthily. Just over 2 weeks on semen retention, I can already tell that I have a lot more drive in the gym and am in a much better mood. I hope you're able to see the benefits that came from these lifestyle changes. I hope you're in a much better place financially and socially, and have finally figured out what you want to do in life. I am currently looking into digital marketing, software programming, real estate and sound engineering, and I also have an interest in astronomy and mechatronic engineering, but I'm not sure how those will work out. I hope you've matured and progressed a lot more in life as you enter adulthood, and if you haven't, you've got me to blame - but you can flip it around. This is your sign to make drastic changes once again. Don't ignore it, or else your future self will regret it.
Best wishes for the future,
Your 17 year old self.
P.S:
I hope you're also a sick musician by now ;)
Epilogue
7 months laterI appreciate your effort to make my life...
