Time Travelled — 6 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, The next 6 months may be most important 6 months in the history of the human race. At least the United States. Will the awful Coronavirus pandemic be under control? A vaccine or at least reliable testing and tracing? Cases have started to spike again, especially in more rural states. The economy remains in dire straits, even though the stock market, for now has basically entirely recovered. Yet over 100k have died and it looks like we are on track for many many more while states start to reopen. And will the US vote to defeat Donald Trump, the corrupt, racist, blustering buffoon that he is? Almost certainly he will lose the popular vote. But as we’ve learned the hard way...that doesn’t matter thanks to the electoral college! Based on his debacle of a “rally” the other day it seems like the general public is finally tiring of his charade? But will he try to disrupt the mechanics of voting? Will he actually leave the White House when he loses? What will a transfer of power look like? It’s frustrating to feel small and insignificant amongst all of this...but please FutureMe I hope you can say the you/we did our part during this important moment.

Epilogue

Well PastMe, here we are in a new year, and while we all hope things will improve, times are still tough. Basically an entire 9/11's worth of people are dying...
