A letter from Mar 30, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Happy birthday babe, you're now 21...so can you something for me(if you don't get this reference then my worst fears are true, I've become old😭). Anywho, how was your special day, I know that these days your birthdays are a bit tough because you see them as a reminder of what you could and should have been able to achieve by now but from a place of clarity I just want you to know that that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. There are so many reasons why you should be happy and grateful for another year, for one it's a year closer to that graduation baby🎉🎉. But on a serious note, you have achieved so much, even if other people can't see it you can, you have battled social anxiety, normal anxiety, depression, worrying and you're excelling. The me of 2 years ago is definitely not the me of last and I'm sure that even the me that is writing this message right now in nothing but a towel and I talk myself into having my bath is so different from the me that is reading this(hey girl). You have gone through a lot in this year, a lot of good and more good(I won't go through bad things loruko Jesu amen). But yeah I really just want you to not think about the past today, I want you to think about the present to look around and see the beauty in your surroundings and most importantly in yourself. Never forget that I'm cheering for you in the sidelines and I love you so much so no matter what you're going through or what you are facing, you'll get through it and I'm sure of that because I trust us and I trust God so don't worry, keep believing, this brand new season you're gonna see it , don't give up, don't you ever give up, there's no way he can let you down so keep your head up and knees to the ground,don't give up, don't you ever give up(that came out from nowhere but I'd appreciate it if you could sing along so I won't really seem like a mad person).
