A letter from September 3rd, 2018

Dear FutureMe, It's funny, so much has changed since September 2017 to now that I don't really know who I'll be in 3 years time. I will have finished university, will be probably living in Glasgow for a year maybe? or back to brighton? or somewhere else completely? If things stay the same... then I assume you'll still be friends with Jack and Molly (who will be in their final year? if molly does take a year out) I hope you're still friends with them, and the others of course... ...Lily, Sadbh, Jake, Jackie and more lovely people. But who are you? Are you still an overthinking anxious mess? questioning your pitiful existence and self worth? do you have a respectable set of skills now? did you get an okay mark in your degree which you've now finished? (congratz by the way!) jesus was the dissertation alright... hope you survived it. do you read more? I've read some good crime this summer and am going to read silence of the lambs next, I hope you enjoy it. Watch some good films? anything groundbreaking come out soon? good music too I hope, you better have some amazing playlists! Still love electronic music! fourtet! so beautiful! so much great stuff to hear.. anything huge happened in the world? whose the current president of the US? what happens to Trump? what happens to brexit? oh **** am I not in the EU anymore!!! wow theres just too much to discuss, send love to everyone in your life illumahotties...hope it hasn't been too long your lovely amazing beautiful parents brother billy grandparents! incredible humans love rosa! please send more of these to distant future!
